Chyameya Kudà Gayu (/ˈkudə/ /ˈgaju/ [previous] [shadow]) is a temperate Large City located in Gletkragugi Kingdom, Mijgake Empire, within the Warren.

The name Chyameya Kudà Gayu is derived from the Sylvin language, as Chyameya Kudà Gayu was founded by Dyêbê, who was culturaly Rattu.

Climate

Chyameya Kudà Gayu has a yearly average temperature of 25°C (77°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). Chyameya Kudà Gayu was founded durring the early 14th century in winter of the year 1304, by Dyêbê. The establishment of Chyameya Kudà Gayu suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Chyameya Kudà Gayu which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Chyameya Kudà Gayu was built using the conventions of Rattu durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Chyameya Kudà Gayu is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Chyameya Kudà Gayu is buildings are arranged arround a network of crampt split-log ties streets which form a grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The city is the proud owner of a proper castle-style stone wall complete with all of the trimmings. It has towers, a moat, gatehouses, drawbridges, and even merticulationsshortsizeleadershipname.. The city's perhapse unnessisarily well built defences are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the citys defences.

Chyameya Kudà Gayu has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Chyameya Kudà Gayu’s streets. Yet, deep down, you know this atmosphere is a carefully created illusion. You can see the ocasional seam in their tapestry. You’re not sure what has them doing their best to act so carefree, but act carefree they do.

Cultural Notes

Chyameya Kudà Gayu's locals despise outsiders. For some “outsiders” may be natives of foreign lands, while others might have a grudge against anyone from outside the community. These locals have an active loathing, and the outsiders allowed to trade or interact with them do so at a heavy disadvantage.

Chyameya Kudà Gayu's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used makes use of a large oblong hall or building with double colonnades and a semicircular apse and symmetrical central-plan, resulting in buildings with a square central mass and four arms of equal length. Decorative features included domed rooves, arches, soaring spaces, and sumptuous decoration: marble columns and inlay, mosaics on the vaults, inlaid-stone pavements, and sometimes gold coffered ceilings.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century several years of heavy rains culminated in a peculiar disaster. A great hole opened up beneath Chyameya Kudà Gayu, swallowing large sections of the community. Chyameya Kudà Gayu lost 152 people, 204 livestock, and 52 buildings in the disaster. This disaster is often refereed to as The Mourning Swallowing.
